The Potong Saga was due for 1000km service. Infact is was way overdue. Anyway, IT IS compulsury to include X-1R Engine Treatment and Magnetrap (it sounded like the DIY magnet on the filter to trap the residue to me)

It's like when you drive in to petrol station, and you are required to pump V-power because your car is new, and there isn't a choice for you to retain the warranty given.

In relation to image above, as i was trying to hang my clothes (obviously so that it'll look presentable and not crumple), i found out that there are missing passenger support, both sides (left/right). Talking about budget cars, they might as well as exclude all doors or make it dashboard-less to save cost the next round.

Post CNY Updates

4 days prior to CNY, and the line is 1 hour long to get the Daging Salai from Jalan Sultan. It came with pre-order paper for faster service too.

And for good deed, we (that's me & me mummy) actually bought Friskies for the cat that doesn't belong to us. They so happen to live outside our compound, and like to pee on my bike.

OK back to work, and i'm darn sleepy.

Cheap Car, Cheap Standard

The protruding plastic part of the car seat hurt my leg. And, for going in & out of the car for 3 times, it's already bruised. This came in factory fitting. So i can rant all i want. Any idea what car is this?
And seriously, who's the clever ass designer that decides to put BRIGHT BLUE STRIKING bulbs/interface for the meter? And who the hell sign the damn paper?
Try to drive the car at night, and all you see was blue lights. It is sooooo distracting that even if you dont look at the damn meter, its poking your eyes like a knife.

But anyway, the car is cheap, and it's not mine. I just thought that i could do a better job at these. I'd cry if i owe this car.

Malfunctions/Problem spotted on first day of driving.

1. Noise when clutch pressed half way. (Release/full clutch in is ok)
2. Buzzing sound as if i'm in a karaoke room, where the mic intefere's with the speakers
3. Blower air-cond switch that
a. cannot be moved freely as if there's spring holding it
b. functionless. No matter where it points, it still blow straight to your face.

Facebook probably have the most stupid sign up process i've ever encounter in my 10 years of internet life. I'm not joking.

Being fu*king tulan now i wanna find out whats so great about this shit. When i'm there, i was asked to key in my email acc & password, and i know they wanted to extract my contacts from the email. (and no wonder i keep receiving invitation shit from ppl), so that's where the spam starts, coz your contact in your emails is already in their database) Now, i try to find some friends in there, didn't work via regional network (US/UK/Canada only).. what do i do? i'm stuck.

I'm not returning again. Friendster is fine for me.

Streamyx

Streamyx decided to blocked our website's IP. Streamyx actually block our whole office's most frequently visit IP.

It's just like, i can view A company's website, can't view my own website, and A company can view my website but not his own website. What the fuXX is wrong?

Countless call had been made the the TMnet's support, but the call end up being, we're providing support and the problem you are facing need techical support, our techical support has already file your complaint but there's no answer from the team yet.

I can't even go to google sometimes. It automatically redirects me to www.yahoo.com with answer to google when i type google.com in my URL box. Funny eh.
My MSN doesn't work too. It's either my MSN is ok but I won't be able to browse the web. Or my MSN is not ok but i can check out the websites. Today, its ridiculous because i can't do both. So much for 50 years of independance.

Motivation

And what a lack of motivation means..
As you read this article you will start to understand why a lack of motivation is costing you even more than you realize.

Growing up I never really had much trouble getting things done. I was told what to do by my parents or by my teachers and I did what was expected of me because it was the easiest choice for me.

Getting punished never appealed to me very much.
Then as I got older and especially when I joined the workforce I could get away with doing less and with leaving things until the deadline approached.
In fact in one company where I worked it made no sense finishing work before the deadlines because management kept moving the goal posts.
And very often I worked with people who refused to stretch themselves. This culture of doing as little as you can and appearing to be productive slowly dragged me down.
Over the years as a result of experiences like these I developed bad habits.
One of those habits was a lack of motivation habit.
I can see now how a few bad choices in how I approached work affected all aspects of my life.
The same may be true for you...
What we did over the years was create bad habits that need to be given up and replaced with a new way of behaving.

Do you realize what these bad habits have cost you in your life?
1. You missed the sense of accomplishment and the satisfaction that comes with succeeding on a big scale.
2. You lost the respect of your peers and you are excluded from the winners circle.
3. You no longer feel in control of your destiny and in fact you are a victim of circumstance.

It's just another cloudy day, as always.

MAM Roadshow, Batu Kawan, Penang

MAM's 2nd Road Show held at Stadium Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang on 11th August 2007 (Saturday) at 6.00p.m. in conjunction with 'Program Sukan Malam' organised by the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Malaysia. There will be lots of activities including Autosprint Competition for cars. MAM stands for Motorsports Association Malaysia or you may log on to http://www.mam.org.my/

Few GRA members went to support the roadshow, there's few of us driving up all the way from KL.

This is probably my slowest drive ever. 80km/h all the way, started my journey about 10am, i've reach the island about 3pm. Half way in the R&R, my tyres became so rubberised that it looked it it just came out from Sepang.

Arrived at Stadium about 6pm, and darn there's a HUGE car park without curbs in between. Nice! But it's too sandy. By 7.30pm we've registered and got our comp number. The scrutt was kinda complete because they checks that all covers are tighten.
By 9pm we're starting our practise runs. So everyone rush to the line to get their turn. Some skipped, it was chaos as there isnt any proper instructions. Not long after, the practice run was held up because the spectators are standing too near to the circuit. After about hundred annoucement being made, the RELA guys are forcing them to step back. Seriously, i think they didn't understand, or the spectators didn't even know it's about them.

The practise run takes forever and, finally at 10.45pm, they are stopping all practise runs. My time did not appear in the sheet, but my 2nd driver have 3 names on the practise run time.
By 12am, there's no annoucement on when it's the start of the first timed run. There's nothing. Until 12.30am. 7 packed and preparing to go home. Left 3 of us, Charlene, Unker Champ and me. I went back to hotel after my first run. Only Unker Champ stayed after that. It ended around 2.30am, and finally the result is out. At 4.30am.

This is a completely waste of time, petrol, my tyres, everything. And the circuit, it's too sandy, the car is out of control everywhere. I wasn't going too fast either. I'm 10 secs behind unker champ.

Darn.

Finally, A Haircut

6 months. 6 freaking months without a haircut. I was cursing since 4 weeks ago that i need one.

This would be the most satisfying haircut i've gotten. Something i've never dare to execute.

I'm glad i did it. Watch out for the new lala in town. The lala car will come next.

H for Hot

This one caught me on surprise. In the morning my rpm was on the 2,000rpm. Suspecting something amiss i plan to make a trip to the mech when able. So by the night, i was speeding home. And while looked, this is what i got. Darn, so i drop the gear as i approach the wide corner, it goes down immediately. Now, talking to myself, it might be the fan not working hard enough.

Anyway, the reservoir tank was dry. And there's smoke. Even before that, the reservoir tank was giving problem. Upon checking, guess what, its neither any of the problem suspected.
My head was gone. I mean my head gasket is a goner. Leaving my radiator oily, and me basically transport breakdown. And so happen, i've got to go KLCC & Mid Valley on the same day.

Taking LRT to KLCC wasn't a hassle, just time consuming. And thinking how could i get to Mid Valley, it's either, make a stop in Bangsar & wait for bus/feederbus/cab. Or be a lil adventurous and try the KTM Komuter. Being lazy, i did the Bangsar stop. And then i realize i have 1 X 50 note. Nothing else. No change for bus fare, not too sure if bus takes Touch & Go, risk getting scolded by cabbie, i decided to call for backup. And 30 mins later, a friend came pick me up.

While i was stuck at the bus stop, i've given direction to 2 tourist, and 1 local. Not too bad yeah.

There's speculation about Yellowman died, out of campaign weeks ago. Curious enough, a look into DiGi's HQ revealed that Yellowman had gone for traning, to bring a stronger coverage to you. And to beat up the ah beng that talk on the phone in the cinema maybe. (as seen in major TV/cinema ad)

Yellowman Died?

Apparently all advertisement on yellowman had been taken down and Digi Website doesn't have any trace of yellowman in sight. Then upon checking out the local papers, there's a petition going on to relive the yellowman. Goodness, the agency is so clever.

Came up with a teletubby yellowman and kill it, start a petition and there goes another marketing gimmick. Well done DDB

GTI Outlook

Someone reminded me that i actually have a blog. Yeah. Thanks Jesly. I stumbled upon your blog yesterday and i saw my link there.

Anyway, if i would like an update there will be few pages long, so let's skip that.

Saw the Hyundai Accent GTI Merdeka version. Gosh. What are they up to? Can a Hyundai transform itself to a Golf GTI? I mean, transforming the outlook itself to look like a Golf GTI it's not enough. They dun name their GTI for the sake of naming it.

And what's with the Suicide Door Accent? Soon we'll see the wannabes start sticking on the back of my boot because they are all so fast.

No Insurance

Flash flood is mother nature. Right. Flood IS mother nature. Flash flood is because of POOR CITY PLANNING, dams filled up too fast because the dam is not deep enough, because of some clever tunnel.

Tunnel is not mother nature.

*I'm not affected by the floods yet, but where i live, it's 2 km from the newest tunnel in town that suppose to drive water away during rain, so the CITY WONT be flooded anymore. Not the other way round.

Sigh. When are we gonna improve? And when are we gonna stop buiding 1 building that costs few hundred billions only to keep fixing it.

I wanted to kill the blog. But i have so much to rant about. Well i can't keep my mouth shut for SMART is being so smart. right?

This happen to our colleague, at first we thought we was watching porn and the TV couldn't take it but in reality it blew up and fell of the stand. Just like that. The TV was off.

Beware for those who drives. It happened a time and twice to a fren of mine. A middle age guy came, sounded like from China or Taiwan and approach you when you in the car asking for money due to his friend had left him (or never show up or any kind of similar reason) so you could give him your money.

Not too kinda sure what will happen next, will they actually jampi you or wat. I didn't wind down my window and i zoom off ignoring him. He walked to the next victim. Just beware. Mine happened somewhere in PJ, and my fren kena twice. Once at SS2 and just now at Kepong. Same technique. It's kinda impossible for 3 different person asking at 3 different place at 3 different time.

So please, keep your kind heart away this time. It just won't work in the society we live in.

Karting Day

Been a while since i sat on that small cute mini no gear 4 wheelers.

Also found out that on every sunday there's a legal mat-rempit gathering showing off their superman and 1 wheelie skills.

It's kinda scary though especially there's like hundreds of kapcai in that area. [It's shah alam btw]

On average, my working hours has gone up to 12 hours. I've lost my social life, i've lost my time to enjoy a good weekend. If i did prolly will end up having troubles on my ass.

Hmm.. Interesting job, never felt so anxious facing with work and i definitely look.. depressed. Actually some of our colleagues too. And the bosses as well.

Oh, and i'm gonna be away next week for business trip. I wonder if i can actually walk the singkapoh with my heels whole day or not.
