What happened in 2006?

This blog been running 2 years, going through 2 revamps and up-to-date there's 20000 (only) visitors.

What happened in 2006?

In 2006 i took up muay thai and i stopped after i've got no time to even take my dinner, i play some badminton as work out & for fun. I finally read some books, bought all flavours of Absolut Vodka, steal all sizes of Starbucks mug. And oh sake shooter glass too.
Been to holidays more than any year before. Shopped too much and bought clothes so much that it'll prolly last me a year or 2.

I started with kreteks (Sampoerna A mentol) and fell in love with it. Changed 2 hip phones in 3 months time. Go to karaoke and actually sings (sorry to all that suffer that night). Back in collecting paperbags, the hobby i stopped doing when i stopped shopping.

I met bloggers that never blogs. Test drive the whole new civic somewhere on the way to some pekan, and went on paper for that. Obviously i was a Tan (not Lee) on paper for some reason, which i don't really know. Maybe it's either, i'm Paul Tan's sister, of i'm her wife. But in reality, it's neither.

Met 2 person that inspired me the most. And i actually wanted to thank this person very much, because, if it's not because of you, i'd prolly still stuck here with zero, nil, nothing. For both work, and leisure. Did 1 (only 1) thing that maybe most people won't have the guts to do, or maybe no chance for such.

Finally burst my bubbles of 100% successful potray of calmness, resulting voice raising to a dear colleague. Catched (or caught ah?) 1 season of 24 (that's Jack Bauer you noob) in 2 days.

Proud because i finally participating in autocross and now i'm so addicted to it, got a lil bit of limelight at autoworld.com.my too. Lowered the car to the extreme, and raised it back 2 months later.

And, maybe just 1 more thing that i'm proud of, by getting the most expensive thing in my life.

Now, maybe it's time to spend a minute to think about my resolution. Something that i really wanted to do, and/or achieve maybe.

Till then, Happy New Year!!!! *Thinking hard for resolution*

Side note: I think some malaysian bloggers are so successful that some of their comment manage to go into The Star page 4 as a column.

Ranting (Mood Swing Post)

There must be something wrong with me these few days. Nothing seem to be interested. Not movies not work, not internet, nothing. It gets even worse after lunch hours. All i want to do is just crash. And maybe get drunk. What type of alcohol you ask? To me it doesn't matter anymore.

I desperately need to get my car serviced before the coming new year so i can make it to the Sepang drive. But i'm so blardy lazy to do anything. Usually shopping could cure every women's mood swings. Mine can't. I have no mood to shop. I just wanna get drunk, on the air cond, tucked in the blanket and sulk.

I need to get new suspension. I need a very stiff-till-you-vomit suspension. But i still have a very large bill to clear. Everyone is asking for the damn increment. Where's mine? Did the theboss forgot mine when i fight for the rest of the team? Seeing what i did recently, it's not that i really need an increment, that but it's good to have. Who will decline one? I think i spent alot of time for work. Even after work. I watch movies after work, because i'm working. I spend money on sms because i was talking to the bosses. I hate going to the cinemas and looking at the showtimes, then i realized that i've watch every damn single movie. Damn it.

When will i be getting a team that will work based on logic. I don't want to be working with a piece of rock. I hate to repeat instructions over & over again. I hate making decisions. I made so much that i hate doing that after work.

And only recently i know that i look like i'm gonna eat the colleagues whenever they see my face. I didn't know i looked fierce. No wonder no one dare to ask me things. I wish i can scared the boss. Only if he's looking at me like the rest of the colleagues. How long could it be before i take over? And can i do that? I dunno. A colleague just got head hunted. And from our discussion it's probably we are not getting any share as promised, as least not so soon. There's still other shareholders that need to sign the damn paper.
But i think, i better not get it. I really duwan to blog another mood swing post every single day.

I need to get rid of this stupid mood swings. I need, my alcohol.

Did anyone watch Lucky Number Slevin?
Don't you think the storyline of Slevin is very much alike with the guy (Tony Leung) in Confession of Pain?

Family got killed, yadda yadda, revenge yadda yadda, cheats all the audience yadda yadda.

The Ticket 2

Seriously, i think there's something wrong for people not paying the samans.

1st, i think i have a problem reading this Mr Traffic's handwriting. Gomen provide them the ticket book WITH A HARD CASE so they can write properly. But they don't. They like to scribble.

2nd, maybe that's why alot of the compound ended up in the officer's pockets, without proper receipt.

Or maybe i should wait for the 50% discount. Or the waran tangkap. Maybe they'll accept my excuse for not being able to read the handwriting. They shld be as efficient as the MPPJ/MPSJ that have handheld printer.

Can anyone figure out what is it written on the 2 cursive handwriting below? Cos i suppose to pay the compound before Jan 2nd, on this Balai that i dunno how to decipher the handwriting. If not i got to go to this Mahkamah that i dunno where cos i can't decipher the handwriting once again. Help!

Food Entry

So all i did was EAT when there's no work. IF you have no where to eat, try the below.

Celestial Steakhouse International (CSI). Dataran Glomac, located behind Giant Kelana Jaya.Food was kinda slow for lunch though. So unless you are having executive lunch, maybe can try during dinner. Excuse given was to ensure the 'FRESHNESS' so food will only be prepared when ordered (maybe then they shouldn't have the word SET LUNCH. Had a Hoegaarden at RM15. That's quite expensive. And there's only 5% tax.
Nice food though. Will go again. My feast of a set lunch & beer cost about RM30
Oh, and all sorts of Tabasco sauce are available there too.

Sorry i really forgot the name of the restaurant because it was so good. It's opposite Spicy Kitchen Hartamas. Ground Floor. Red signboard. Japanese BBQ. Miso soup burning in paper, mashed potato with butter. Kim-Chim mushroom with butter. Pork & beef. yum yum. 4 person cost less than Rm200.

Mee york in Desa Aman Puri. The chili quite hot too. Different variety, with added lala, or prawn. For those not into chili, the herbal chicken mee is nice too.

Umai-ya Japanese Restaurant. Situated in The Place, Damansara Perdana. Too much food for 4 person, but we can't stop ordering.
Beef sushi, miso soup, temaki roll, salmon sushi, cheese chicken, soy sauce chicken stick, 'dunno-wat-soup, and dunno what sushi. Sorry was abit drunk with the hot sake there. It was good, just don't order too much next time. It comes up to RM200 for 4. Can't smoke inside though.

Seafood porridge, freaking big claypot!! That's the portion for 3 person. RM42. Recommended for small eaters to order 2 person's portion instead cos we can't finish it.
Located at PJ State, beside UOB Bank, at night there serves braised duck rice. During lunch time there's other stalls, incl this porridge. They only serve seafood porridge.

And during our porridge meal earlier, thought of the Seremban Ketam-Bakar. Just 1 hour drive from KL, exit at Seremban, when reaching Terminal 1 (Bus station & Complex) turn left at the traffic. Go straight till you see 'PUSAT MAKANAN SEREMBAN'. In chinese, the signboard mention about 'SIU-HAI' though. 2 crabs + vege + meat for 5 person is not enough though. Shld order 1 crab each. Anyway, the crab is nice cos of the honey on the shell. And the way the break the shell is amazingly good. Easy to eat. No hard peeling. Less than RM100 for 5.

Burp. Report ends.

Heineken Barrel

Remember i was in Langkawi and we drink like a fish cos we bought a 5L Heineken for only RM69. (what a nice number)

Then when i was sweeping by Jusco, i saw this!! I almost grab 2 barrel because i damn like the barrel, and i stopped, after i saw the price tag. RM179.90 baby!

That's like 3 barrels there in that island. Cheh. Even the 2L champagne Heineken (RM 59.90) is not worth it.

There, i think i'll stick to my remaining SingHa & Hari-hari Mau till the stock is low. Heineken still taste bad anyway.

Gridiron Gang

Gridiron Gang. American football in jail. Enemy become buddies. Lost the game, some fights, some low morale, then win it back yadda yadda yadda. Resembles a movie starred Adam Sandler, The Longest Yard.

Only this one it's based on actual events. When the credits roll, there's short interview with some of the actual fellas.

Not something really great but looking at The Rock's face expression always make me smile.

Gridiron Gang, in cinemas 13th December 2006

Love For Share / Berbagi Suami

Indonesian Indie Film that won quite a few of awards. It's 3 short stories about poligamy. Completely Indonesian production, got lots & lots of cuts with our censorship board here (note: go watch in Singapore) due to the second story is about threesome, and the 2 wives fall in love with each other after that.

Go catch how these 3 women define their fate. Limited releases in cinemas January 2007

The Ticket

arrgh. so the other day i was passing by Traffic Jalan Bandar (KL city). I got flagged down by Mr. Traffic and then i was instructed to drive into the station. Hmmph. After checks and some talk i got a ticket. For exhaust emission and noise. He insisted that if i got flagged down by Jabatan Alam Sekitar my ticket will cost 1,000 to 2,000.

Ahh whatever it takes to get me off the station before more faults. Oh and the best part is, infront of me, there's a white Civic (EP) SI VTEC '02 got stopped too. I think her fault was dark glasses. And i see her parked her car to get it tested instead of receiving the ticket. Hehe. Oh well, i'm RM150 poorer.

And, can't really imagine that i DID passed 11 tolls on my saturday trip around the Klang Valley, say Cheras - PJ - Klang - Cheras - PJ. I was kinda amazed actually.

Oh ya, Harith, you rawked!!

Night At The Museum

oh just a quick one on Cicak-Man
I remember reading back kennysia.com regarding not to combine English & Malay words on signages (or something like that)
Then what about our Cicak-Man?
----------
The other day i went for a survey screening of this coming soon movie Night At The Museum. Go watch it folks. It's not just another Ben Stiller movie. It's more than that. Prolly the history that I never even heard before.

Went i got the invitation, i heard my friend nagging, "why la in the morning 10am give free show? Give la at night wan."
And then i reply, yes you can watch at night, but first you can wait till it opens in the cinemas, then you can get your tickets by lining up half an hour at the box office to find out it's sold out.

Hello guys!! wake up. This is free stuff. And you watch it before anyone else, literally. So don't complaint.

Night At The Museum, starring Ben Stiller as the night watch, Owen Wilson as the Wild Wild West Cowboy, (which first appearance i thought this is gonna be the Shanghai Knights third installment) Steve Coogan as the roman gladiator (*cute) and of course Kim Raver (from the 24 series).

Catch the 26th president of The United States, Terracota Warrior, Columbus, The Mummy (which i think he's kinda cute too) and alot more pre-historical characters. In cinemas this Christmas!
